Brooke,
Let me start by saying that I have been HORRIBLE at keeping up your journal this past year. I am going to try and do a better job by typing it online. I can always find time before I go to bed to sit at the computer so I will try and make a habit of writing every night before bed about your day. This is your 6th birthday. Where has the time gone? On one hand, it seems like just yesterday you were born, on the other it is like you are an extension of me in so many ways, that it is like I have never been without you. You are one special little girl! I love you so much I can't describe it. I will recount your birthday. Daddy and I told you that you could have your present from us on your real birthday (you had a party last weekend). We also told you that it was too big to wrap. So we got you up super early and brought all of you in the living room. We have 6 birthday sacks that you had to open. Each one contained a letter and it spelled DISNEY. It took you a minute to figure it out but you had the biggest smile when you did. You especially got excited when we told you that we were going right away, the car was already packed. I tell you Brooke this was one of the greatest days of my life, getting to take my family on a vacation and especially for you since you are old enough to understand and have been asking to go to Disney for about a year now. Once Daddy gave me the go ahead after Christmas, I started planning the trip. We decided to make it a suprise, just in case something fell through and also to make it a SUPER special birthday! You loved the plane ride and the resort was great. We had a birthday dinner with the princesses. You dressed up as Belle, make up and all. You looked beautiful. A lady even stopped us on the way to take pictures of you girls all dressed up. We got autographs and pictures with the princesses as they made thier way around to each table. We had a great time despite the wheel falling off of our stroller-LOL and Daddy popping his knee out of place. You could not wait to get in the pool at the resort so we let you all take a quick swim. You love swimming. I just want to tell you how proud I am of you and how sweet and thoughtful you can be. I am so glad God chose me to be your mom. I want to make every day count with you because you are growing up TOO FAST!
